GES reaches 10.000 MW maintained all over the world. The maintenance footprint covers Europe, North Africa and North and South America.
GES continues expanding in Eastern Europe. In Romania, several projects have started: turn key project of Pestera wind farm (90 MW), construction of the Cernavoda wind farm (69 MW) for EDP and construction of Cara Constantin wind farm for ENEL.
GES Turkey has been created in order to start activity in that country. GES Poland consolidates, with the successful assembly of wind turbines and supply of substation in the Margonin wind farm (120 MW) for Gamesa Energía. Another project has been the construction and assembly of wind turbines of the Piecki wind farm (32 MW) for Neo Energia.
GES expands in South America. A maintenance contract has been signed for the Canela III wind farm in Chile with 40 Acciona turbines of 1,5 MW.
GES expands internationally its solar activity with several projects in USA and Europe: turn key project in Wilmington solar farm (1,6 MW), in Delaware (USA); Turn key project in Sault solar farm (1.2 MW) in France; Torchiaralo solar farm (8 MW) in Italy.
GES Germany carries out its first offshore project, taking part in the assembly of 6 Multibrid-Areva (5 MW) wind turbines in Alpha Ventus which is the first offshore wind farm in Germany.
GES USA is growing. A new Warehouse and Training Center in Abilene, Texas has been opened. Also a brand new interactive website has been designed that will serve as a training platform for our technicians bases on e-learning techniques. .
GES Italy grows. Some of the wind farms that have been constructed are Sant'Agata (14,5 MW), Lago Arancio (44 MW) and Roca Ficuzza (22,1 MW).
GES builds the biggest wind farm in Africa, for ONE (Office National d'Electricité) in Tangier (Morocco) with 165 Gamesa turbines with a total power of 140 MW.
GES Mexico installs the turbines for the biggest wind project in Latin America: Eurus wind farm (250 MW). The job has included the installation of the medium voltage line and the assembly of the Acciona 1,5 MW turbines.
In the petrochemical area, GES has taken part in the enlargement of the La Rábida Refinery (CEPSA) and the Cartagena Refinery (REPSOL).
